Professional translator and interpreter

About me

After graduating from the Sorbonne university with a Master 2 (French equivalent to a Master’s degree)  in Modern Literature, I went on to complete the Conference Interpreting training program at Paris Dauphine University ESIT (Interpreters and Translators School), before graduating again from the University Paris 10 in 2008 with a Master 2 in Legal and Economic English Translation.

I first worked as an interpreter for both French and European ministries and institutions such as universities, and private companies specialising in luxury goods. During that time, I also worked as a translator and volunteer interpreter alongside the International Movement ADT Quart Monde (Fourth World), fighting against poverty and exclusion.

Now based in Paris, I am once again working as a professional translator and interpreter with European and French institutions as well as law firms, NGOs and private companies in the luxury sector.

Amongst my achievements, I was lucky enough to translate the manuscript for The New Microfinance Handbook published in French by Economica. The text was written in total by 21 authors, working under the direction of Joanna Ledgerwood, a specialist in financial inclusion; Julie Earne, an experienced microfinance specialist from the International Finance Corporation; and Candace Nelson, trainer, researcher and author for over 30 years in the field of microfinance.

The French version of the New Microfinance Handbook, published by the World Bank in 2013, is a guide for development practitioners such as NGOs, private foundations, private sector leaders (banks, insurance companies, microfinance institutions) and the public sector (central banks, regulators) as well as for university and college students.

I’m also a member of the Société Française des Traducteurs (French Translators Society), a union whose statutes and operations are governed by the French Labour Code, and as a professional translator and interpreter, I comply with the Code of Ethics of SFT members and the principles of good practice applicable to my profession.
